Known for its therapeutic property since many generations, lemons help to strengthen your immune system, cleanse your stomach, and it is considered a blood purifier.


Mango leaves help normalize insulin levels in the blood. The traditional home remedy involves boiling leaves in water, soaking through the night and then consuming the filtered decoction in the morning. Mango fruit also has a relatively low glycemic index so moderate quantities will not spike your sugar levels.

Sweet lime

Sweet lime is also known as the Mosambi. It is a citrus fruit (belongs to the Citrus family) which was first originated in the regions of Mediterranean Southeast Asia.Sweet lime or Mosambi juice is a very famous juice all through India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and can be found in almost every season.


Drinking orange juice regularly prevents kidney diseases and reduces the risk of kidney stones.According to two studies in Japan, eating mandarin oranges reduces liver cancer. This may be due in part to vitamin A compounds known as carotenoid.

Due to the rich fiber content and low glycemic index, guavas prevent the development of diabetes. While the low glycemic index inhibits a sudden spike in sugar levels, the fiber content ensures the sugar levels are well regulated. Guavas are rich in Vitamin A.


Papayas are rich in fiber, vitamin C and antioxidants that prevent cholesterol build up in your arteries. Too much cholesterol build-up can block the arteries completely, causing a heart attack. Papaya extracts have also found to reduce lipid and triglycerides in diabetic rats.


Laboratory studies have shown that pomegranate extract can slow down cancer cell reproduction, and even induce apoptosis (cell death) in cancer cells. Pomegranate extract has been shown to inhibit reproduction of breast cancer cells, and may even kill some of them.
